peace, ease, and justice

On one of the rarely cold days of LA I am sitting on my couch at home. As usual I begin my day thinking on what this day might bring to world and to my own little world. It is worrisome and painful to sit and read and feeling that all pain on the face of the earth is still there. I wonder how many children will die today in the world, how many people will be abused, how many of them will cry after their deceased beloveds or may be how many will walk the walk despite they walk on the thorns of their every day lives. I am not pessimistic. I just believe that one flight of a butterfly can make a change at least for some.

This blog aims to share the ideas on peace. They will be not my ideas, though, since one person is not enough to scrutinize all conflict on earth and the potential solutions. Rather what I aim, is to put a thinking worry and struggle to make peace an everyday practice, in the hearts of people who have interest.

I strongly believe if we care the neighbor, as much as ourselves, that day peace will follow this social contract. When it comes to humans, nothing is small. Whether you are 9 or 19 or 90 it does not matter. One heart can warm the whole world, if it became warm enough as sun. Thus, we better have look at our hearts first, and then thinking will follow.

After all, our motivation defines our life. There are thousands of genius people on earth but yet, we still have pervasive conflict and even war on this 'modern' age. Then we could not motivate our genius, or should I have said, thinking hearts enough?

Say for instance, a lot of scenarios are on detectives, crime, criminal minds, etc... Do we see just one TV show on how peace can be attained during conflict moments in daily life, and between people in conflict? Why not? Are you one of those genius writers who have motivation for making a movie or TV show to tell conflict resolution techniques to society at large? It may not sell well. No problem, you will have that motivation and will find your way as a river that could not flow becomes a beautiful waterfall one day. Only the sound of water even, has the power to heal.

This blog aims to bring a conversation into your friendship circles. This blog aims to learn from youth, the people who are be the leaders of future. This blog aims to offer a couch and prepare tea and coffee while you, the intelligent and brilliant hearts can exchange ideas.

This is your blog. I dedicate it to my wonderful friends, my students from whom I learn alot.

So here are two the questions:

1. What is sustainable justice? How can it be attained?
2. Where is happiness in justice? Can two coexist? Can one be both happy and get justice? Or seeking justice cause sadness in everyday life?
